Little House of Science Launches at Eddie Catz
1st Oct 2014Adding yet another dimension to the curriculum of pre-school classes, after school clubs and workshops on offer, Eddie Catz has partnered with the newly founded Little House of Science to bring fun and educational science classes and workshops to its customers in its Putney High Street centre.
Little House of Science was founded by three London ladies, two of them are mums, who saw the ever growing demand from children wanting to learn more about how the world works aimed at children who love science and are inspired by it. Their guiding principle is to ensure the kids go away with inspiration and enthusiasm about learning and wanting to know more about nature and the supportive facts. They’d like to think of themselves as creating or fostering the spark for the next generation of scientists, but the main aim is to provide a foundation for youngsters where after each session, they will have gone home knowing a little bit more about our wonderful world and how things work.
Eddie Catz has already run successful Little Science workshops over the Easter and summer holidays including Leonardo da Vinci Workshop, Water Cycle and The Invention of Paper & Paper Making. Planned for this October is Spooky Science on 27th October, 10am-1pm.
In the pipeline for the Autumn Term are also weekday classes for under 5’s from their regular curriculum including Little Maths Rhythm & Shapes, Little Science and Little Discovery.
