Eddie Catz Wimbledon comes Runner Up in the Merton Best Business Awards!
5th Oct 2014FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Eddie Catz Wimbledon has been awarded Runner Up in the Merton Best Business Awards 2014 for Colliers Wood Best Business of the Year. The winner was announced on 3rd October at the awards ceremony at the All England Lawn Tennis Club.
Having acquired Tigers Eye in 2008, Eddie Catz refurbished and rebranded the venue, opening as Eddie Catz Wimbledon in February of that year. The venue offers a giant three-tiered play structure, padded baby and toddler areas, sports pitch, disco room, five private party rooms and a photography studio in a joint venture with Memory Gate Photography. Over 15,000 children celebrated their birthdays at the venue last year alone in parties ranging from Make a Bear to Laser Tag and all of them had the opportunity to meet the popular mascot, Eddie the Cat.
Area Manager Maria Marcantuono, who has led the team since 2010, says "I am very proud of my Team. Over recent years our revenue has grown steadily despite the economic turndown and I believe this is due to us continually introducing new and fun things and our level of service. We are in a good location which captures customers from many nappy valley neighbourhoods."
Eddie Catz Wimbledon holds weekday pre-school and after-school classes, partnering with some of the borough's leading class providers, such as Diddi Dance, Playball, The Creation Station, Baby Sensory, Little Kickers and Twinkle Toes Ballet.
